precious life

life is precious and fragile. it is beautiful and full of wonder. i watch lives changing all around me--and i wonder, what do people think when they see my life? i hope they see happiness. i hope they see creativity. everyday i am given the gift of life. i breathe. i run. i laugh. my heart is given to those who have lost that. life may not always seem to change for good--its up to us to decide that comes of that. i believe we can.

Alright, so I've got the opportunity to teach English in Yongzhou China. I can't wait! I leave around Feb 9th and return home anytime between June 25th and July 10th. I'm excited to be able to take a semester off of school and have a little time to do something for myself. I don't really have too much more to say about it but here are some pictures of where I will be going!

the best thing about summer? MONTANA! i love going home to spend time with the family. and this summer i am double lucky, i get to go home twice. i'm leaving tomorrow morning, bound for helena montana, and i'll be there for ten days. some of the best things about helena....

...well that is just a few things that i love about going home. i plan on staying up late playing games with the fam-and also sleeping in sort of late, ha. i'm being kicked out of my room my linus--our exchange student from germany--and i'm being stuck in the office, hospitable, yes i know, just shows what i'm willing to go through to be home:) i also plan on eating a lot! i cannot ever get enough of mamma's cooking. and bonus, it's close to my birthday so i do believe celebration is in order--complete with a rainbow chip cake topped with rainbow chip frosting. only the best for my inner child. bah! who's kidding who--i've always got that childish edge. i can see me now--every thirty minutes down the road i'll be asking don, 'are we there yet??' i wouldn't be surprised if he slipped me a tylenol pm or two.

Ok, so Wingers may not be the most glamourous place to earn money, but I most certainly work it. And let me just say I rock it too.

a tribute to my gals

Well I've got my new apartment down here in Provo, and boy do I miss my favorite gals. Little miss Jana and Tiffany. I miss all the good times in the hot tub!! I am so glad that Tiff is back from New York, and it was awesome to see Yan for a bit, I wish she would move back home. Most classic Yan, "Yeah I'll put it in a box for ya! I'll put my grimmy hands all over it too." I laughed so dang hard. There is absolutly never a dull moment when Yan is around. Jan is always there to give me a huge hug and nice little smack on the bum.

One of my most favorite Tiff moments is when she asked Tyler what state Albania was in. Tiff is the most understanding and incredibly nice girls I have ever met. She is always so careful to what she says and does around other people. Tiff is my home girl-and I stinking love her!

Huh, well, ok. I finally did it. I have a blog. However, now that I have it, I feel that it may become my personal online journal. I suppose we'll see how it turns out. It is already proving to be a bit confusing. I'll need to spend some more time figuring it out...
